Day 223

Today is August 11, 2011.

It’s been 10 months since I walked into the ER.

303 days since my first surgery.

302 days since my second surgery.

293 days since I left the hospital for rehab.

288 days since I left rehab and headed home.

It’s been 203 days since I got the all clear from the neurosurgeon that the blood clot in my brain was in fact gone.

It’s been 154 days since my biopsy came back negative and I learned that the cancer had not spread.

It’s been 144 days since my second skin graft.

It’s been 46 days since my last radiation treatment.

It’s been 7 days since I found out the cancer may not be gone. (Fact: It could be gone, they just don’t know)

It’s 1 week until I see my oncologist again to find out how soon I’ll need to another MRI.

__________

It’s been more days than I’m comfortable with since I’ve written a good blog post so I offer you this photo in place of words.

I spent some time this evening taking photos of the almost (95%) full moon. I think I got a few good ones. I’m particularly happy with this one.
