This is totally a backdated post. I’m counting it as the day 4 post because the sun has yet to come up on day 5.
I fell asleep at around 11pm after watching Sleepy Hollow — Which I love by the way — and now I’m awake at almost 4am and I didn’t want to miss posting for one day because I’m committed to reviving this blog. Although I suppose you couldn’t tell that by my nodding off before posting a blog for the day or that I don’t have an editorial calendar planned.
Speaking of editorial calendars. Do you have editorial calendars for your blogs? Do you write on the fly or do you write ahead of time?
No calendar. I mostly fly by the seat of my pants. Sometimes if I’m doing a theme or a multi-post post (did that make sense? LOL) I’ll type up some posts ahead of time so I’ve got some done. I really need to get it on though and get more organized.
If you start a calendar let me know how it goes!
Brandie, I think my sticking point is that for some warped reason I feel like to be authentic you have to write whatever is in your heart or on your mind at that every moment, which of course is completely and totally ridiculous. Not sure how I’ve somehow managed to warp spontaneity into authenticity but I’ve got to stop doing that.
