Day 358
I’m beat. We spent the day finishing our Christmas shopping and I’m beat. I just finished watching It’s a Wonderful Life and now I’m all teary-eyed so I’m extra rambly. If you don’t get a lil misty-eyed at the end there’s something seriously wrong with you.
It was a race to the finish line and I hate shopping last minute but I’m so happy to be able to be out Christmas shopping this year. Last year I was warned about my compromised immune system and to not get sick. We didn’t shop, we didn’t get to go to Christmas dinner at my brother and sister-in-law’s house, we stayed home and had take out Chinese food for dinner. I’m so happy for the resumed somewhat “normalness” of this year’s holiday. I can’t wait for dinner tomorrow, as much for the food as for the company.
To all of you who’ve followed me on this journey since last year I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas. Don’t forget to light your bayberry candle before midnight (you have 30 mins) and let it burn down. I love you all.
With Much Love and Great Affection,
~ Carol Anne
