I’m seriously exhausted from running around tonight to grocery shop and buy batteries for flashlights. See, the thing is, most families work Mon.-Fri.; mom, dad and sometimes even the teenagers so most grocery shopping gets done on the weekend. Everyone was already running low on groceries and then the hurricane decided to come up the coast and close most things on their designated shopping day, add possible power outages to that and you’ve got a run on stores never before seen here in the Delaware Valley. Not even snow storms cause this kind of shopping. LOL
We always grocery shop on Sundays so we too needed to venture out into the madness. I have to be honest with you aside from not finding D batteries for our big flashlight or white bread for sandwiches and raisin bread for Chuck’s daily breakfast we managed to buy everything else from our shopping list. We didn’t find the stores too packed and everyone was in good spirits that I saw. I think people are much grumpier when they’re shopping for an impending snow storm. Okay, think that’s about it for tonight. See you tomorrow!
