  1. Must say you are a strong woman for all that you are going through. I wanted to comment on this post because it relates to what I blog about… strengthening our economy through local consumerism. I totally agree with you, there need to be some kind of incentive for companies to keep jobs here. Otherwise we just can’t compete with manufacturing factories in third world countries in terms of labor costs. We have to look past the bottom line and consider not only the economic ramifications, but the human rights, safety and environmental ones as well.

      Sarah thanks for stopping by to comment. You make good points that I had not even considered while writing this; human rights, safety and environmental issues are also incredibly important. What good are we as a super power if we don’t also honor the human rights and well being of workers here and abroad?
