Thank you Tara. I’m flattered. You’re pictures are always amazing. I could only hope to take as good as photos as you do.

Thank you Jeanette. Yes, the arboretum is amazing. I bet it’d be gorgeous in the snow too. I live too far away to find out though.

Thanks Rachel! I absolutely love being a red head. I’m looking for a longer curly-haired red wig.

  1. My sister is half way through 12 chemo treatments and the nurses where she goes are fantastic. we say the same thing, that we are amazed at how kind and positive and friendly they always are. I think if you see people who are going through that every day you cannot help but count your blessings.
I wish you much luck with your remaining treatments. It is not easy.
I love the picture of your kitty. so cute.

  2. Try not to worry too much about your dad’s situation. Worrying will not make it better and you have quite a bit on your plate already. I know it is easier said than done. You’ve got some amazing pictures this week.

  3. Your look great! Sending you lots of positive thoughts as you go through the rest of your treatments. I was looking over your “About” section… OH MY!! Blonde, Pat Benetar <3. My girls grew up to dancing with me in the basement to "Heart Breaker" lol

<3 Thanks BTDD! I have my brother to thank for the Blondie records. Nothing like some good girl rock 'n roll to make everyone happy. Thank you for stopping by. I love visitors. <3

  4. My mom is a 7 year breast cancer survivor and the nurses that helped her during her chemo treatments were wonderful. They not only treated her, but they treated our family too. They were there for a hug when my sister or I just needed a pick me up. They are amazing people. On my mom’s last chemo I took them “better than sex cookies” and they shot us with water guns. lol Good luck with your remaining treatments. You look great and keep a postitive attitude!!!!

That’s awesome Carrie! I’m so glad she’s a survivor. The radiation team are amazing; the nurses, therapists and doctors.

  5. I’m a breast cancer survivor – I’ve posted about my case on my main blog, starting 2009…
Stay strong and positive – like you look now! :)

  6. Beautiful beautiful pictures. You make water look really good. That’s so wonderful you’ve been with your husband 20 years, sometimes I wish my husband and I could fast forward to that. The comfort and care of having a best friend/husband that KNOWS you better than anyone.
