Excuse the mess behind me. There were people coming into the restaurant and I didn’t want to publish photos of people who don’t know they’re being photographed let alone photographed for a daily web missive. I don’t have fancy photo editing software so this was the best I could do.
After a very long, very stressful week the hubs took me to Cape May for the day. He took me to the ocean because it’s where I recharge my batteries. It’s where I go to heal my soul and believe in the infinite. It’s where I feel at peace.
On our way out to Cape May Point we stopped at the Cape May Bird Observatory and walked the mile-long trail. It was a gloriously gloomy semi-rainy, misty sort of day. Before we even started down the trail we encountered a baby bunny.
We encountered a crow, many seagulls, several swans and a bunch of birds in flight that I could not identify.
It was a beautiful trail full of marshland and beautiful foliage.
There was also a beautiful view of the Cape May Lighthouse from the Observatory.
I’ll be back tomorrow to share more photos I took from Cape May Point. Thanks for stopping by to read and comment. I love you all.
