Tuesday our radiation machines broke down too!! Now its going to be added to the end of the radiation appointments. I remember in 2005 when I was going thru rad for my lung cancer, the machines broke down all the time! I hope its not going to be like that this time! They use to have a basket in the radiation room full of Aquaphor in little sample tubes. I use to grab handfuls of it at a time! They don’t have them there anymore! LOL My skin is really starting to dry out so I have to go back to Walgreens and buy a bottle. Maybe if I mention it to one of the techs tomorrow, she’ll have some of the samples hidden away somewhere…..

I’m someone who needs a schedule. I’m someone who orders the same entree at the same restaurant every time. I have lucky clothes to wear to doctor appointments, which oddly enough I wore today so I’m going to have to rethink how lucky they are. I do things at the same time every day and in the same way. I’m a control freak. I will need some sort of anti-anxiety drugs if my schedule continues to change and machines continue to break down.

Angel, I’m going to try to explain myself today. I don’t want them to think that I’m a bitch but all this moving and shuffling is setting me on edge. I’m overwhelmed.

Hi, that’s too bad about all the confusion. That would be so aggravating, after reading the other remarks from the girls, I am thinking that this happens more than once in a schedule of treatments. I think you may need to prepare yourself for a delay now and then, that’s just awful but when dealing with computers, I think we are are their mercy.
    Hugs,
    Suz
