Day 15
Greetings from my couch! It’s day 15 and I’m taking a break from watching The Social Network to post today’s pic. Today was my day to go get my monthly CAT scan. I just didn’t want to today. I didn’t feel like getting up early. I didn’t feel like showering right away. I didn’t feel like fasting until after the CAT scan. I wanted to lounge around the house and eat waffles for breakfast. I didn’t want to go have dye shot into my arm while a machine took pictures of brain. Some days I’m better at facing up to life than others. This morning was not one of my better days.
After we got to the place it was a longer wait than usual, which only served to make me more anxious. Once they finally called me to have my CAT scan the technician couldn’t get a vein in my one arm so she had to go to the other arm. She told me I was probably dehydrated. Ummm, well it wasn’t my idea to fast for 3 hours before the head CT with contrast. My appointment was at 10am so that pretty much meant that I hadn’t had anything to eat or drink since around midnight. *sigh* Then to make matters worse I had to sit around and wait to see if the CAT scan came out alright because she thought that the machine stalled skipped briefly while the scan was going on. Thankfully the scan came out okay and so off we went to the pretzel company and Liscio’s Pizza to pick up lunch (pretzels) and dinner (pizza @ Liscio’s).
After lunch and some time relaxing at home the hubs took me to the park to take pics and visit the duck pond at the park down the road. It was overcast again but this time I brought my telephoto lens and I think I got a few good shots of the ducks. Check back tomorrow to see duck pics and more!
Love,

omg…I think maybe the ONLY thing I sort of miss about my old job is the Philly pretzels one of the sales reps would sometimes bring up with him
I can taste one now ~yum~
Oh my gosh! I love soft pretzels. You’ll just have to come and visit us. I’ll have a Philly themed shindig. All the cheesesteaks, tomato pie, soft pretzels and water ice you can stand. LOL :-)
the ones he would bring are the kind shaped sort of like a bow-tie, not the pretzely shaped kind (if that makes sense) and I’d look for one with tight loops to take home and make a sandwich on lol
sounds like a yummy shindig for sure!
